Cut-and-Paste Activities

Cut out the animals. Sort each one into one of two groups: animals that are in the book and animals that are not.

Writing Activities

Each student makes his or her own page for a class book. Each page has the child's first name, an animal, and a sound. example: Isabel, Isabel, what do you hear? I hear a pig. It says "Oink."

This worksheet shows the scene from the book in which kids are dancing and wearing animal masks. Students color the picture. Then they write a sentence or two that tells what's happening in the picture.
